The Ultimate Breakfast Smoothie

Aussie summer's are HOT, and if you ask me there's no better way to start a hot summer's day then with a breakfast smoothie. Icy cold and packed with nutrients like fibre, good fats, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus and protein it's got everything you need to power you for the day ahead. 

If we have time I like to team my smoothie with grainy toast served with a choice of spreads like nut butter or jam, but if we're in a real hurry then they can poured straight into our insulated bottles and drunk on the run. No need to ever skip breakfast again!


Breakfast Smoothie - Makes 2

1 banana

1 cup frozen strawberries

2 tablespoons of rolled oats

2 tsp honey

1 tsp chia seeds

400ml reduced fat cows milk


Blitz and serve.
