These chocolate bliss balls feel like a really decadent treat but are actually a healthy every day snack. Great in the lunch box or with a coffee for all the Mums and Dads out there. I love making these during the winter months when our orange tree is providing us with delicious fresh oranges.
13 medjool dates - pitted
1 cup dried cranberries
3/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup desiccated coconut (plus extra for rolling)
2 tsp coco powder
zest of 1 orange
3 Tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice
Place all ingredients in a food processor and blitz until smooth. Shape into small round balls with your hands and roll in desiccated coconut or for a slightly more sophisticated finish roll in coco powder or drinking chocolate.
Keep in an air tight container in the fridge. Makes 21
